Petanque Tradition

...the fun continues

ARCHIVE: February 2009

G' day, Bonjour,

Last Sunday 15th, we were blessed withy a gorgeous day and playing in the shade under the trees in the Parkland is bliss.

We had 26 winners for our “Double ffreward (fun & friendship), because all the participants wins with Petanque-Tradition.

The format Super-Melee (with change of partner as well as change of opponents for each game), is very well accepted.

The format is transparent, fun; the teams are quickly formed without confusion and start to play straight away.

We play 45 minutes “Timed Game”, allowing the players to refresh themselves and to socialize in the “break” time between the games.

“THE MAGNIFICENT DOZEN”’ new leader after the third Sunday of grading is: ALAIN. Bravo Alain!

PLEASE NOTE: Ernie, Pascal, Melvin and Nora have a good points’ tally and need now to increase their wins to jump to the first twelve best players.

Please check the result in the "Grading Magnificent-Dozen".

If some sport’s players are looking for new team mate, they should follow the progression of Malcolm S. and Linda-Tegan; they were amazing in their first day in pétanque and with basic coaching they will be in the top players.

-Our next meet will be the 15th March 09.

-Same place, in the Parkland opposite 136 Greenhill Rd, Adelaide.

-Lunch at 12noon (BYO sandwiches for lunch, table and chairs are available)

-Super-Melee games start at 2pm and every one will win the “Double ffreward (fun & friendship).
